Brenda Berdick, DNP

Dr. Berdick is a primary care Nurse Practitioner certified in family medicine and women’s health. She joins Neighborhood Health with over 15 years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner and over 45 years in health care. Previously Dr. Berdick worked as a primary care provider in the medically underserved clinics in Fairfax County. Dr. Berdick became interested in these underserved patients’ access to basic care in women’s health. She wanted to take care of the whole patient not just the presenting problems but the screenings necessary to prevent further issues. The variety and diversity of patients in primary care is what she values. Her goal is to help her patients and their families make better health decisions and provide better follow up. rior to coming to NH, she worked at the CHCN clinics in Fairfax County where she pursued as second certification in Women’s Health. Growing up, she lived her early years in West Virginia and then the Family moved to Charlottesville, Virginia where she became most interested in nursing after visiting the University Hospital. Dr. Berdick is a family Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in caring for all aspects of women’s health. Dr. Berdick believes that preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle are essential for achieving optimal well-being. She has dedicated her career to caring for underserved patients as well as educating future nurse practitioners.
